How late can I sign my child up for classes for the year?

Our regular dance year follows the school year (September - June). Due to the fluctuation in timing when shipments of costumes are anticipated, we close enrollment based on the availability of the costume for the class. Typically cut off is around November or December.

 

You are welcome to sign up for an account at any time, and if you want to be put on a waitlist, please email us at stilladance@gmail.com.

Where do I get dress code approved class wear?

We now offer convenient in-studio ordering for all class wear! Leotards, tights and shoes! Click on Order Class Wear to order. Shoes must be sized before ordering, no returns or exchanges on class wear. 

You can also find our dress code sheet in your portal (under the shared files tab). You will need approved shoes for recital, so if your dancer grows quickly you are welcome to use hand me down shoes for classes. Just make sure you have the approved shoes in time to break them in for the recital! (Usually about two-three months.)

How Do I Reserve A Spot?

Register online using the link above (parent portal) and pay the registration fee plus 1st installment. If you have questions please feel free to reach out to us and schedule a time with our Directors.

Placement for Classes

All class recommendations are electronic! When you log in, you will add your child(ren), and you can then hit "register".  Please note that all classes for your child's age will appear. There are multiple options for some ages, so just choose which day/time option you prefer, you don't have to enroll in all of them.

We receive feedback from each of the instructors for placement. The criteria that we looked at includes the following: Attendance, Effort in Class, Teamwork, Application of Corrections, Mastery of Syllabus, Technique, Timing & Musicality, & Performance Quality.  

Tuition & Discounts

Tuition discounts (class and sibling) are automatically applied through the portal.  You just need to add the classes and continue until you get to the page to "Enroll". At that point you will see what the monthly installments are and still be able to go back and make any changes.  If you have questions and want to talk about the pricing, please don't hesitate to reach out or attend one of the open houses. You won't be able to see prices unless you are logged in to your portal account.

Paperwork, Forms & Fees

In the portal you will find a copy of the Calendar, Dress Code/Shoe Requirements, & Fees under the Shared Files section of the portal The fees for recital, costumes, and registration reference sheet is also in the portal and you will be charged in advance so please be sure to check the due dates for these.  Once you have completed your registration, a copy of all of the forms will be emailed to you!

Copies of our waiver and policies/procedures documents are saved under WAIVERS on the portal.  Please be sure you sign these electronically upon enrollment.

What forms of Payment Do You Accept?

At this time we only accept credit cards. All families are required to put a debit/credit card or bank account on file via auto-pay. You are still welcome to pay your invoice at anytime, however, any unpaid past due accounts will be drafted on the 5th of each month using the account on file.  As always there is a nominal fee for credit/debit card and no fee for bank accounts.  

12 Week session classes (Toddler and Me or Adult Classes) are still required to pay by credit card, and need to enroll in Auto Pay, but since you pay for the whole session at registration, you will not be charged monthly.

What if I forgot My Password?

You can reset it by following the portal link. Click "forgot Password" and follow instructions. If you need assistance, please send us an email!

Do You Have Practice Videos & Songs For My Dancer To Practice?

If you subscribe to our YouTube page you can find our practice videos for the recital as we get closer to the end of the season. The links are accessible under your "Shared Files" (Music Note Icon in the portal). For the security of our dancers, the links are private, so only parents can access them through the link in your portal. 

Do You Have A Waiting Room For Parents To Sit?

We are blessed with such a wonderful studio space! At this time we do not have a waiting room.

We encourage you to drop off your dancers at their classroom door (or in the lobby) in a timely manner so all parents will be able to have an opportunity to say goodbye! Due to limited space and fire code, we are not permitted to have parents waiting outside the classroom doors in the hallway/lobby. We will have a parent observation day, check your emails for more information!

How do I purchase items with the studio logo? (t-shirts, bags, water bottles, etc.)
